David's Grove This grove consists of High Sierra native plants as well as a creek-side plant community, dominated by upper elevation evergreen trees and shrubs.
David May Garden Dedicated to Wilbur May's nephew, David, this grove features Western US native evergreen trees primarly found in the higher elevations.

Honey's Garden Water cascades over large boulders and into a reflecting pond, suggesting a natural moutain creek somewhere in the Sierra Nevada. The garden features white and yellow flowers.
Kleiner Hardwood Grove Midwestern and eastern native deciduous hardwood trees grace the south-facing slope along Evan's Creek wetlands.

Kleiner Oak Grove The southern Arboretum entrance greets you with a variety of tall oaks that provide dense shade, relief from the summer heat, and spectacular fall colors.

Kristen's Garden With a vine-covered gazebo, this lush secluded garden makes an ideal spot for respite. A profusion of wisteria, iris, magnolia and peonies bloom in the spring and opulent stans of Michaelmas daisies delight visitors for several months in the later summer and fall.
MacDonald Rock Garden This area features an extensive collection of native and adaptive plant species well sutied to a low water regimen
Native Plants Collection Along the Fritz Went Trail, Great Basin nature plants and eastern Sierra Nevada plants are displayed in the following communities: Mixed Conifer Forest; Salt Desert Shrub; Northern Desert Shrub; Pinyon-Juniper Woodland; and Mountain Brush.
Rose Garden The unique collection of miniature, hybrid tea, floribundas heritage, and climbing roses provides beauty from early summer through autumn.

Songbird Garden Offering aromatic flowers, nutritious seeds, and colorful fruits, this garden attracts many native birds and is a bird-watcher's paradise. Many of the shrubs and trees were selected as ideal nesting sites.
Xeriscape Demonstration Garden This garden displays low water use plants, some native varities as well as ornamental plants that are well-adapted to the Great Basin environment.
